il faut jamais dire des choses du genre, car c'est frustrant et outrageux mon ami, ils ont des hommes cabale aussi sauf que les combats, les escarmouches et la guerre sont des mots qui ont plus de Signification plus profonde chez nous que chez eux car on a beaucoup d’expérience dans ce domaine par le passé, je parle de tout notre passé car le Maroc durent toute son existence a été toujours convoiter, mais avant on était comme nos frères saoude et on a payer des tribus lourd dans le passé, et on a appris de nos erreurs, aussi nos brave solda se sont aguerrie durant les dernières années suite aux entraînement, manœuvres inter et itra-armées, je veux bien que nos frère et amis saoude n’ai pas l’expérience de notre fierté qui est notre armée, mais ils ont aussi des hommes qui font de leur mieux pour défendre leur patrie

Où est ce que tu as connu des hommes saoudiens pour les qualifier d'incompétents? Les saouds sont des gens braves.
C'est un peuple qui a fait un saut rapide entre de la vie bédouine à la vie moderne sans période de transition, d'où le manque d'expérience qu'ils ont dans beaucoup de domaine pas seulement dans le militaire.

Cette idée de ''saouds laches et incompétents'' nous l'avons hérité de la période de la guerre du golf où tous les marocains (peuple et non pas gouvernement) souhaitaient voir Saddam triompher contre les arabes du golf et les écraser, on s'est réjouit des premières victoires contre le koweit et l'AS, et ça a renforcé chez nous l'image du ''peuple irakien civilisé qui écrase les bédouins du désert''.. C'est subjectif.

Le peuple marocain ne porte pas les saoudiens dans son coeur, ça c'est une certitude, heureusement que notre gouvernement n'est pas aussi naîf que nous.

The Airmen say some knowledge of Arabic is hugely beneficial.

"It helps to develop friendships; it builds respect between us," said Capt. Reggie Ramsey, an F-15 Strike Eagle adviser for the 55th Fighter Squadron at Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia.

These operations have taken five of the USMTM pilots and their Saudi Arabian counterparts to Nellis Air Force Base for 40 days as they participate in the Red Flag 10-4 and Green Flag 10-9 training missions. While this is the third Red Flag exercise for the RSAF, this will be their first participation in a Green Flag exercise.

"This is not their first time coming to the United States, but we are here to guide them along in how the United States Air Force does business," said Lt. Col. Brett Provinsky, an F-15 S adviser for the 6th Squadron in Khamis Mushayt. "They're here to learn from the variety of international players and integrate as much as they can."
Prior to the Red Flag mission, the 92nd Operational Squadron in Dharan, Saudi Arabia, the lead F-15 S squadron, completed a two-week practice exercise, replicating the Red Flag schedule in order to prepare for the official exercise at Nellis Air Force Base.

The Airmen have augmented the Red Flag and Green Flag missions with other lessons. In between exercises, they taught the RSAF pilots the U.S. air traffic control system and conducted independent low-altitude training missions above Utah, Arizona and California. The pilots' year-long tenure in Saudi Arabia has also served as a learning experience for the pilots of USMTM.

"Working and interacting with a foreign air force has definitely been eye-opening," said Maj. Anson Stephens, an F-15 S adviser for the 92nd Operational Squadron in Dharan. "The language barrier is a challenge, but it helps make you a better instructor."

The USMTM Airmen and the RSAF are scheduled to return to Saudi Arabia Aug. 20.

BAE Systems is to set up a military aircraft assembly plant in Saudi Arabia under the GBP4 billion (USD6.2 billion) 'al-Salam' Eurofighter Typhoon deal with the state, a BAE spokesman confirmed to Jane's on 16 August.

Citing reasons of commercial confidentiality, John Neilson, BAE Systems' vice-president of communications - international and business development, declined to provide further details of the plans, although he noted that "the Saudi government makes no secret of the fact it is looking to diversify its oil-based economy through the development of industrial capability in a number of sectors".

A Eurofighter aircraft has crashed at Spain's Morón air base with one fatality, the Spanish ministry of defence has confirmed.

The combat aircraft, which was on a regular training flight, crashed into the ground "moments after take-off" from the base near Seville, according to the ministry's statement.

It was being piloted under dual control by a lieutenant colonel from the Saudi Arabian air force, who was killed, and a Spanish air force commander, who ejected before the crash.

The ministry says the Spanish pilot is "well" and required only a "basic" level of medical attention.

CITAAM, the Spanish body responsible for investigating military aircraft accidents, has despatched a team to Morón to identify the causes of the incident.

The Saudi lieutenant colonel was at the Spanish base after the two nations signed a Eurofighter training contract.
