Recovering a Leopard 2SG Main Battle Tank (L2SG) when it is stuck is no mean feat! The Armoured Recovery Vehicle alongside a well-trained
three men crew is the perfect platform to complete the job.


Bionix II Infantry Fighting Vehicle

Besides delivering a mightier punch of firepower, the Bionix II Infantry Fighting Vehicle also provides better crew protection and connectivity.
It can be integrated with an array of platforms, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), the Primus Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPH), and the
Bronco Mortar Track Carrier (MTC). These capabilities will enable the 3rd Generation Army to respond rapidly and strike with precision against
a spectrum of threats.


With a Bionix Recovery Vehicle, the technicians are able to tow the broken-down Bionix back to the maintenance base for repair.


With its unprecedented payload of up to 5 tonnes, the BRONCO can be fitted with increased armour for protection against mine and IED threats,
increasing its survivability in hostile environments. The Bronco’s very low ground pressure enables it to traverse a wide range of terrain – snow,
swamp, sand and inland water – thus vastly expanding the types of operations it can undertake.


The Terrex Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV) provides infantry forces with enhanced protection, mobility and firepower, and also networks soldiers
and air-land weapon platforms, thus facilitating the delivery of information, and fires in the battlefield. It can seat up to 13 men, including
a driver and a commander.


The Light Strike Vehicle Mark II (LSV MK. II) replaces the ageing fleet of LSVs. The primary role of the LSV MK. II is against armoured threats.
It is designed to be helicopter portable and manoeuvrable over cross-country terrain. The vehicle is equipped with enhanced networking capabilities
to support the integration with other combat systems during operations.

This Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosives Defence Group (CBRE DG) 5-Ton Ops is armed with the following pieces of equipment -
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)-9 Bomb Suit, Individual Protective Equipment Suit, AP4C and iRobot Packbot.


Foldable Longspan Bridge Transporter and Launcher

In its expanded form, the top of each bridge part forms a wide roadway for vehicles and troops. A 11-man platoon can bridge a gap of 45m in
under four hours.


Mobility 3rd Generation (M3G) Military Float Bridge

Its walk is a little ungainly until the M3G hits the water. Then, the iron giant unfolds to link up with other M3Gs to form a stable platform. Known as
"coupling", this process can go on until a continuous bridge is formed. Two M3Gs can also be coupled together to form a raft to ferry troops,
equipment and vehicles from point to point.


Trailblazer Counter-mine Vehicle

This bizarre-looking machine is truly a time-saver.

The Trailblazer bludgeons through a minefield with its 72 hammer-tipped chains. Clearing a 100m path takes a Trailblazer crew just five minutes
compared to half a day taken by an entire field engineer platoon. Each head strikes the ground with 1.7 tonnes of force, which is more than what
typical mines can withstand, leaving the mines completely destroyed, detonated or simply thrown out of the path.


Leopard 2 Armoured Vehicle Launch Bridge

With its crew safe within its thick hide, this armoured behemoth has a fully-automated bridge that can be placed over gaps effortlessly in five minutes.
Retrieval takes just 10 minutes. Unlike older armoured bridges, the Leopard 2 Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge (L2 AVLB) launch with a sliding
action which gives it a lower profile and makes it less likely to draw enemy fire.


Singapore Armed Forces Armoured Engineer Vehicle

The Leopard 2 Armoured Engineer Vehicle (L2-AEV), a three-man engineer tank, is primarily employed in mine-clearing with its full-width mine
plough, or to demolish wire obstacles with its mechanical gripper. Based on the mission, the L2-AEV is protected by a remote controlled weapon
station (RCWS) mounted with a 0.5” Heavy Machine Gun.


Singapore Light Weight Howitzer Pegasus

Weighing 5.4 tons, the 155mm Singapore Light Weight Howitzer Pegasus is both self-propelled and heli-portable by the CH-47D "Chinook"
helicopters. This 39-calibre howitzer offers better range and firepower than the 105mm Light Guns which it will replace. The SAF's artillery
systems will all be standardised (at 155mm) after the Pegasus is fully phased into the SAF's artillery units.


Self-Propelled Howitzer 1 PRIMUS

The Self-Propelled Howitzer 1 Primus is a fusion between the range and firepower of the artillery, with the protection, speed and manoeuvrability
of armoured vehicles. The Primus is a highly accurate, mobile artillery platform that will bolster the fighting capabilities of our Combined Arms Divisional
forces with its 'hide, shoot, scoot' capability.

Based on the twin-chassis Bronco All-Terrain Tracked Carrier (ATTC), the TMTV carries an additional high-mobility trailer at the rear. On the move,
the TMTV resembles a small train with three carriages.

The first segment is where the driver and crew sit, while the centre segment houses a crane and deployable stabilisers. The last segment holds an
entire armoured vehicle's power pack (engine and attached transmission) using special mounting points.

Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo V (LARC V)

When the SAF needs to move supplies across water obstacles, it calls upon the capabilities of the Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo V (LARC V) -
which can move on both land and water. A cross between a boat and a transport truck.


Mobile Field Unit – Kitchen and Fridge (rear)

The mobile field kitchen is equipped for basic cooking in the field and in large quantities. This is accomplished through a modular design, which allows
cooking to be done on the trailer itself or on separate sub-units. It also allows chefs to use different cooking methods, from baking, boiling,
braising and frying to roasting, steaming and stewing.


Water Purification Unit (mounted on MB290)

No water, no problem!

The Singapore Combat Engineers' Water Purification Unit (WPU) is the SAF's solution to this issue. Relying on a dedicated diesel engine to generate
power to run its pump and filtration systems, the self-sufficient WPU produces up to 500 litres of clean water per hour.


The ARTHUR
is a radar which can detect shells 40km away and can track a maximum of 8 rounds simultaneously. The ARTHUR can track 100 rounds a minute!

The PRV is mounted with an Integrated Remote Control Weapon System (RCWS) which allows it to configure between three weapons – the 7.62mm
Machine Gun, 12.7mm Heavy Machine Gun, and 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher, allowing it to respond to a multitude of threats.

Military Police Traffic Outriders (MTPOs) rolling out in the mobile column decked in their new riding suits! –


The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) carries a single pod of six Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) rockets and is able to strike
targets as far as 70km away. The HIMARS requires less than 20 seconds to be prepared for firing and a full launcher load of six rockets can be
fired within 45 seconds. The HIMARS is equipped with the Increased Crew Protection cabin, which is designed to protect the three-man operating
crew against plume gases, rocket launch debris and small arms.

The vast training area and assets participating in the exercise allowed our Ground-Based Air Defenders to train even closer with their Army
counterparts as well as our fighters and helicopters to enhance the complexity and realism of their missions.
