Le Bourget 2011: Le Maroc met en scène ses ambitions aéronautiques

C'est la quatrième participation consécutive du Maroc au salon International de l'aéronautique et de l'espace Le Bourget. Le Maroc arrive au salon avec un secteur aéronautique qui compte plus de 90 entreprises de référence internationale et un effectif de plus de 8500 emplois qualifiés. Un secteur dont les perspectives de croissance annuelle sont de 20% et où les investissements se sont fortement accrus au cours de ces dernières années. EADS, Boeing, Snecma, Aircelle, Creuzet, Daher, Souriau, Labinal, Zodiac, Teuchos, Casablanca Aéronautique, Le Piston Français… sont déjà présents au Maroc. L’ambition du secteur est d’atteindre 15.000 emplois à l’horizon 2015 et 23.000 en 2020.

Pour réaliser ses ambitions, le Maroc a connu le mois dernier deux événements majeurs qui marquent un nouveau tournant dans l'industrie aéronautique Marocaine: le lancement des travaux d’aménagement de MidParc Casablanca Free Zone, plateforme industrielle dernière génération dédiée à l’aéronautique, et l’inauguration officielle de l’IMA ( Institut des métiers de l’aéronautique).

La capacité d’accueil de MidParc, Casablanca-Nouaceur Free Zone est d’environ 300 unités sur 125 hectares. «Notre business model part du constat que l’investisseur international se concentre sur son cœur de métier, la technologie et les marchés, et pour gagner en compétitive, il a besoin de co-localiser une partie de sa production dans une zone offshore . MidParc lui offre ainsi la possibilité d’une implantation rapide dans un grand standard de qualité, à moindres coûts, sans tracasseries administratives, sans avoir à apporter des moyens de financement d’un terrain ou d’un bâtiment dans un parc où les services sont mutualisés», déclare Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi, président de MidParc.

Pas loin de MidParc, l'Institut des métiers de l'aéronautique a été inauguré pour former 300 à 400 jeunes par an avec l’ambition d’atteindre 800 jeunes par an à l’horizon 2015. Outre le volet technique, l'institut dispensera d'autres formations dans les domaines annexes aux métiers de l'aéronautique, notamment les achats, la qualité, la logistique, l'ingénierie, la gestion et le management industriel.

Depuis quelques années, le Maroc a mener à bien d'autres projets et met aujourd'hui à la disposition des investisseurs plusieurs avantages que les exposants du Stand F93 - HALL B2 ne manqueront pas de mettre en évidence pour accélérer l’émergence d’une base de premier choix pour les industries aéronautiques.

IAI to Unveil its new advanced Medium-weight Laser Guided Bomb at the Paris Airshow

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will unveil the MLGB, a new advanced Medium-weight Laser Guided Bomb at the upcoming Le Bourget Airshow opens June 20th near Paris. MLGB is a dual mode Laser Guided/ GPS guided weapon optimized for Light Attack aircraft.
MLGB is 170 cm long and weighs just 115 kg, of which the bulk, is the capable warhead.
Precise homing of the MLGB is achieved against both stationary and moving targets, taking advantage of its laser homing capability.
Its fixed wings are in a cruciform configuration and spans 82 cm. and it is carried by standard 14" lugs.
The MLGB includes an advanced multi-mode fuse that allows for height, impact or delayed (penetration capable) operation.
Carriage and release envelope are compatible with fighters and light combat aircraft.
The MLGB boasts optimal navigation and guidance capabilities, achieving hit accuracies of better than 1m CEP in SAL (Semi Active Laser) mode, and GPS accuracies in GPS mode.
Prior to release, The MLGB is powered up and mission parameters are loaded.
Upon release, a midcourse navigation trajectory is executed with transition to terminal homing taking place in the final flight stage, using a combination of GPS and SAL guidance.
The relatively light warhead is optimized for such missions where minimum collateral damage is of high importance

Le X3 d'Eurocopter va faire sa première présentation publique au Bourget

Après avoir atteint le 12 mai dernier la vitesse de 232 noeuds (430 km/h), le X3, démonstrateur d'hélicoptère hybride d'Eurocopter, va réaliser à l'occasion du salon aéronautique du Bourget ses premières démonstrations de vol en public. Cet étonnant appareil, qui combine les capacités de décollage et d'atterrissage verticaux d'un hélicoptère et les vitesses de croisière élevées d'un avion, a été imaginé pour répondre à de nombreux besoins, notamment maritimes. Le concept peut, en effet, se révéler très intéressant pour les liaisons avec les plateformes offshores, les sauvetages hauturiers, ainsi que la surveillance et l'intervention maritime et littorale.

Développé à partir d'une cellule de Dauphin, le X3 est équipé d'un rotor principal à cinq pales alimenté par deux turbines, et deux hélices montées sur des ailes fixes courtes. Les essais en vol, qui ont débuté en septembre 2010, sont aux dires d'Eurocopter une réussite. « La manoeuvrabilité et la stabilité élémentaires du X3 ont pu être validées dans la totalité de l'enveloppe de vol de l'appareil, sans qu'il ait été nécessaire d'utiliser des dispositifs stabilisateurs actifs ou passifs. Ces performances ont été confirmées lors d'essais en vol avec et sans l'assistance du pilote automatique. Autre avantage, cet appareil hybride présente de faibles niveaux de vibrations, sans avoir recours à des systèmes de réduction active ou passive des-vibrations, et offre des caractéristiques de vol comparables à celles des meilleurs hélicoptères de conception traditionnelle actuellement en service », explique l'hélicoptériste.
Pour Eurocopter, le salon du Bourget, qui se tiendra du 20 au 26 juin, sera aussi l'occasion de présenter ses dernières machines, comme l'EC145 T2, l'AS350 B3e, ou encore l'AS565 Panther équipé du Stand Alone Weapon System (SAWS).

Le nouveau ATR 72-600 de Royal Air Maroc sera exposé sur le tarmac du Bourget

Pendant le salon du Bourget qui se tient dans le région parisienne du 20 au 26 Juin 2011, le constructeur européen ATR présentera le premier exemplaire de série de l’ATR 72-600. Le nouveau membre de sa famille d’avions, vient d’obtenir la certification de l’Agence Européenne de la Sécurité Aérienne (EASA). La certification, préalable à l’entrée en service de l’avion.

D'ailleurs, l'avion exposé au Bourget sera remis à Royal Air Maroc, son client, juste après le salon. La compagnie Marocaine sera ainsi le premier opérateur à prendre livraison d’un ATR 72-600. ATR avait précisé dans un précedent communqiué que les livraisons des autres ATR 72-600 commandé par RAM démarreront dès cet été. Royal Air Maroc avait commandé un total de 4 ATR 72-600 et 2 ATR 42-600.

Ce dernier, l’ATR 42-600 devrait être certifié AESA d’ici la fin de l’année. A ce jour, environ 150 ATR de la série « 600 » ont été vendus. Selon Fillipo Bagnato, des ATR de la série « 500 » seront encore fabriqués l’an prochain. La production devrait s’arrêter dans le courant de l’année 2013.

In order to better anticipate future attacks, these elite teams collaborate closely with the respective government authorities in numerous countries to intercept the threats. They are thus the key elements of international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime.
At the Paris Air Show, Cassidian will demonstrate its experience in protecting highly sensitive and complex networks, and particularly in protecting critical national infrastructures. Indeed, in an increasingly computerised world, critical infrastructures can only operate to maximum effect if they are interconnected and interdependent. The failure of just one link in the chain can have consequences extending far beyond national borders. One of the challenges in the future will therefore be to protect these infrastructures. In its Touch Lab, using a 3D scenario to illustrate critical national infrastructures Cassidian will stage a cyber attack along with its proposed solutions for warding off such threats.
Services
Cassidian Aviation Training Services (CATS, formerly EADS Cognac Aviation Training Services) was founded in 2006 and has since become France’s leading outsourced operator from a technical point of view, providing the French Air Force with equipment and services for pilot training. CATS hosts hundreds of trainees at its technical training sessions and provides the French Air Force with new-generation aircraft and flight simulators which, by June, will have clocked up 100,000 flight hours and 25,000 simulator hours.
At the Paris Air Show, Cassidian will for the first time display a flight demonstration symbolizing Cassidian’s fleet and training services. Four training aircraft which could be proposed as a complete training pipeline of a fighter pilot will be presented: initial training (APM 40 Simba), elementary and basic training (Grob 120 A), basic and advanced training (Pilatus PC-21) and advanced training (Aermacchi M346). Cassidian has offered these aircraft, among others, to various European Air Forces for training purposes. One CATS aircraft will also be displayed on the Static with a representative working at the Cognac flight training school.
The skills and know-how of the CATS personnel provide French Air Force pilots with training facilities using state-of-the art, high-performance equipment at a significantly lower cost (approx. 30%).
Based on the success of its services to the French Air Force over the past five years, Cassidian Air Systems will also present its service offerings for fighter and transport pilot training.
Eurofighter Typhoon
Eurofighter Typhoon is also presented at PAS 2011 with daily flight demonstrations of the Italian Air Force in the Flying Display. Eurofighter is the world’s most advanced multi-role/swing-role combat aircraft available on the world market. The aircraft has been ordered by six nations (Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria and Saudi Arabia). With 707 aircraft under contract and more than 270 deliveries, it is Europe’s largest military collaborative programme and delivers leading-edge technology, strengthening Europe’s aerospace industry in the global competition. More than 100,000 jobs and over 400 supplier companies are involved in the programme. Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH manages the programme on behalf of the Eurofighter Partner Companies: Alenia Aeronautica/Finmeccanica, BAE Systems, EADS in Germany and Spain which are Europe’s leading aerospace and defence companies with a total turnover of approx. €120 billion (2010).
The combat aircraft features extreme agility, integrated systems, an optimum human-machine interface, advanced precision-guided armament, sensor data fusion, integration into military data networks and latest production technologies, e.g. the use of carbon fibre composite materials (CFCs). Eurofighter is still at the beginning of its in-service life and thus enjoys an enormous growth potential.
