Iran has unveiled two new home-made air defense radar named Nazir and Bina.
Iran unveiled two new home-made radar systems named Nazir and Bina on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, with the capability of detecting radar-evading targets and fighting against electronic warfare. The two radar systems were unveiled in a ceremony attended by Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmayeeli through a video conference.

Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 Iran610

Nazir is a long-range and high-precision radar system which is highly capable of detecting targets in low radar cross section and is resistant to radar evading and anti-radar missiles.

The radar can detect all radar-evading targets and is capable of fighting electronic warfare.

Bina and Nazir radar systems have been mounted in the mountainous and plain regions in Southeastern Iran.

Elaborating on the specifications of the two radar systems, Brigadier General Esmayeeli said that they are fully home-made and unique in the region and the world.

"The radars have been designed in different frequencies and with jump frequency and also in (special) bands which cannot be heard by the enemies," he added.

Esmayeeli explained about other features of the radar systems, and said they are multi-range radars, meaning that they can detect wide-body and stealth targets as well as small planes, including drones, in long distances before they can approach Iranian borders.

He expressed the hope that the two radar systems will be mass-produced within one year.

In relevant remarks earlier this month, General Esmayeeli underlined that Iran's radar, electronic and missile systems were always awake to monitor and show reaction to the slightest hostile moves of the enemies.

"The air defense is always ready for mission and its radar, electronic, missile and monitoring systems are not turned off under any conditions and they are always under operation," Esmayeeli said, visiting the existing defense systems in the Southwestern parts of Iran.

He said that the air defense system is constantly monitoring and providing coverage for every inch of the country's airspace.

Esmayeeli also said that radar stations have stretched in 3,600 points across the country, adding that the intensity of this monitoring depends on the type of threats and presence of trans-regional states in the region.
Also in July, Esmayeeli announced that Iran would unveil its new strategic radar system in September which would cover a range of over 1,000 kilometers.

"This is a strategic radar system with a range of about 1,000 kilometers and it will be unveiled on September 1," Brigadier General Esmayeeli told reporters last month.

He noted that Khatam ol-Anbia's new radar system will be deployed in a strategic region of the country.

Brigadier General Esmayeeli reiterated that Iran has the safest airspace in the Middle East, and said, "Today the number of passing flights has increased to 1,300 in every 24 hours as compared with 900 flights three months ago."

Also in July, Brigadier General Esmayeeli announced that the country would unveil new missile defense systems early in September.

"Missile systems with the capability to stand against electronic warfare and mid-range and long-range radars will join the integrated air defense system on September 1," Esmayeeli said in the Northeastern city of Semnan.

"The radar and missile defense systems will cover an important part of the country in the South and Southeast," he added.

Esmayeeli underlined that defensive depth is one of the main important feature of these systems, specially the long-range radar defense systems.

Iran manufactures new types of drones using high technologies under a secret program.

Commander of Iran's Basij Force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi revealed on Thursday, September 3, 2015 that Iran is manufacturing new types of drones that enjoy unique technologies, adding that the pilotless aircraft have been developed under a secret program.

"We build drones that are unique and exclusively owned by Iran and no one is informed of them," Naqdi said, addressing a gathering in the Northern city of Rasht on Thursday.

The top commander declined to make any further comments or information about the drone technology.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in aerospace sector, including drone designing and manufacturing.

Late in August, Managing-Director of the Iranian Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO) Manouchehr Manteqi said Russia has asked for import of Iranian drone technology.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is known as an advanced country in the field of (building) drones," Manteqi told FNA on the sidelines of the MAKS 2015 air show in the town of Zhukovsky near Moscow.

He underlined that the Russians plan to transfer the technology of building one of Iran's drones to their country, but he declined to reveal any further details.

Iranian Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan announced that some updates had been carried out on home-made drones to increase their capability for loading more weapons.

Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 Iran1110

"We have done a special task on the drones which has improved the precision striking, range and flight duration of the Ground Force's drones; therefore, our drones are can now conduct the needed missions according to the Ground Force's daily needs," Pourdastan said.

"With the help of the Ground Force's experts, the necessary ground has been prepared in the drone systems to enable them carry heavier loads of weapons and we aim to use these drones in rapid reaction drills to be staged in the current year," he added.

Pourdastan said that the Ground Force's drones can be remote-controlled, while they are also equipped with auto-pilot systems and can attack hostile ground and air targets at different levels.

Improve of Iran defense and military capabilities is priority for Iranian armed forces commanders.

Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan underlined that improving the country's defensive and military capabilities is a priority. "Maintaining and developing the country's defensive capabilities proportionate to the threats" is a prioritized agenda of the Ground Force, Pourdastan told FNA in the Western province of Lorestan.

"We have done good actions to enhance tactics, weapons and in conducting drills in our future plans," he added.

In relevant remarks in February, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined the readiness of the country’s Armed Forces to confront any possible outside threats, and said the enemy was afraid of Iran’s military prowess and defense capacities.

“The world’s arrogant powers are today scared of Iran’s high defensive capabilities and for the same reason their style of sanctions and threats are changed everyday,” Dehqan said, addressing a ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the return of the founder of the Islamic Republic, late Imam Khomeini, from exile back in 1979.

He reiterated that Iran’s defensive power is rooted in the significant efforts and endeavors of the country’s experts, and said, “Iran is pursuing a policy of deterrence and our work is based on a defensive policy."

Iran armed forces total about 545,000 active personnel (not including the Law Enforcement Force).

In recent years, the Iranian government states that it has self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.

Tehran established an arms development program during the Iran-Iraq war to counter the weapons embargo imposed on it by the US and its Western allies. Since 1992, Iran has manufactured its own tanks, armored personnel carriers, missiles, radars, boats, submarines, unmanned aerial vehicles, and fighter planes.

ran ready to provide Syria and Iraq with more military aid to help in fight against ISIL

Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan announced on September 22nd that Tehran is ready to provide its regional allies, Iraq and Syria, with more military aid to fight against the terrorist groups, reports the Iranian news agency Fars.

"We are cooperating with the friendly states, including Iraq and Syria, and if they want military aid from us, we are ready to supply them and we will support them," Pourdastan told reporters on the sidelines of Iran's annual nationwide parades at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the Late Imam Khomeini, South of Tehran on Tuesday morning.

Also asked about the possibility of terrorist groups' threats against Iran, he said that Iran has full supremacy over them whether in Iraq or Afghanistan and if they dare to approach Iran any closer than a 40km distant from the borders, they will face the Iranian Armed Forces' crushing response.

In relevant remarks in January, Senior Military Aide to the Iranian Supreme Leader Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi stressed the importance of the regional states' security to Iran, and said Tehran was providing both Baghdad and Damascus with military advice.

"We assume security in Syria and Iraq as our own security and even view insecurity in Afghanistan as a kind of insecurity in Iran," Safavi told reporters in Tehran.

"We don’t conceal that we are present in Syria and Iraq as advisors and give advice to Mr. Bashar al-Assad and Mr. Haider al-Abadi," he added.

Also, in February, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined Iran's high missile capabilities, and said Tehran had provided Syria, Iraq, Palestine and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance group with the needed know-how to produce missiles.

"The IRGC's Aerospace Force has developed to a stage in the field of missile industries that it can mass-produce different types of short- and mid-range missiles," Hajizadeh said in Tehran.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has helped Iraq, Syria, Palestine and the Lebanese Hezbollah by exporting the technology that it has for the production of missiles and other equipment, and they can now stand against the Zionist regime, the ISIL and other Takfiri groups and cripple them," he added.

Hajizadeh also stressed Iran's self-sufficiency in building radar systems and drones, and added that the country had also exported its drone technology and products to other countries.

Iran Armed Forces display 12 long-range ballistic missiles during military parade in Tehran.

The Iranian Armed Forces publicly displayed 12 long-range ballistic missiles for the first time after Tehran and the world powers reached a nuclear agreement and the UN Security Council issued a non-binding resolution which calls for restrictions on Iran's missile program. The nationwide parades by various units of the Islamic Republic Army, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Law Enforcement Police and Basij (volunteer) forces were staged in Tehran and other cities across the country on September 22, 2015, morning.

Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 Ir110

During the parades, the Iranian Armed Forces displayed 12 long-range ballistic missiles, including 4 Qadr F missiles with a range of 1,950km, Qadr H missiles with a range of 1,650km and 4 Sejjil missiles with a range of 2,000km.

Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 Ir210

Also, 4 Khalij-e Fars anti-ship ballistic missiles and 4 Hormoz anti-ship and radar-evading missiles with a range of 300km were among other missiles displayed in today's parades.

The public display of Iran's long-range ballistic missiles is seen as a defiance of the western states' demand and resolution 2231 which calls for restrictions on Iran's missile program.

The Iranian Armed Forces have test-fired different types of newly-developed missiles and torpedoes and tested a large number of home-made weapons, tools and equipment, including submarines, military ships, artillery, choppers, aircrafts, UAVs and air defense and electronic systems, during massive military drills in the last few years.
Defense analysts and military observers say that Iran's war-games and its advancements in weapons production have proved as a deterrent factor.

Iran successfully tested second generation of Sejjil missiles and brought it into mass production in 2013.

Sejjil missiles are considered as the third generation of Iran-made long-range missiles.

Also, Iran's 2000km-range, liquid-fuel, Qadr F ballistic missile can reach territories as far as Israel.

Iran's surface-to-surface Sejjil missile, the long-range Shahab-3 ballistic missile which has a range of up to 2,000 km, and Zelzal and Fateh missiles have all been developed by the Aerospace Organization of the Defense Industries.

This is while the solid-fuel, two-stage Sejjil missile with two engines, is capable of reaching a very high altitude and therefore has a longer range than that of the Shahab 3 model.

Iran's army decisive in region: Salami
Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 IMG18104218
TEHRAN, Oct. 01 (MNA) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has stressed that Iran’s army has the most decisive role in the region.
Attending the first conference of Basiji Elites, Brigadier General Hossein Salami referred to the Mina Tragedy stating that, “weak and poor regimes are not capable of solving major issues; Saudi Arabia has mixed ignorance with new tools and techniques to offer a modified political system while it resides in the depth of naivety."

“The Saudi regime is unintelligent and lacks political capacity to manage crises having an arrogant and ambitious spirit which attacks Yemen and its poor Muslim nation,” added Salami.

The commander continued that, “They provide economic and financial support for Takfiri terrorists to ruin countries like Syria while they fail to control the great congregation of Hajj with a weak and humiliating performance which leads to their own disrespect in the world.”

Stating that Iran is engaged in a global battle with enemies in religious and cultural fields, he said that, “the nature of modern warfare is different from the past because the geographical boundaries have collapsed and we live in a virtual world with real images.”

Brigadier General Hossein Salami asserted that, “our enemies have been forced to change their involvement in the conflict from strategic position to operating levels and this is due to our Islamic Revolution.”

“The US has entered a great battle and has focused on the West Asia and the Islamic World as the main priority in its foreign policy and has suffered great losses after our Islamic Revolution,” he added.

Deputy Commander of the IRGC noted that, “a great power which is not able to use its economic and cultural and military elements to gain profit and to bring about political evolution is definitely suffering from a malfunctioning political system.”

“The fact that Muslim nations have become more aware and have realized the realities of America’s global system is a great opportunity that can be used for the movement and progress of the Muslim world,” he added.

Underscoring the importance of Iran’s army in dealing with reginal issues, Brigadier General Salami asserted that, “by the presence of Russia in Syria, the equation in the region has taken a new form; even in America’s view, Bashar Assad is an important part of the solution to the Syrian crisis; Saudi Arabia’s economy is also deteriorating and it would not take much time before they collapse.”

Iran's IRGC Navy Unveiled Zolfaqar Semi-Submersible Torpedo Boat

FARS News agency is reporting that Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled for the first time a new home-made torpedo vessel named 'Zolfaqar', during an exhibition in Tehran on Saturday.

The boat is 17 meters long, 3.3 meters in wide and 3.5 meters high and it weighs 22 tons. The boat is a surface/subsurface vessel and can launch torpedo attacks at enemy targets from positions (surface and subsurface).

Military experts say that the dual use boat that can sail in water at a maximum speed of over 70km/h is a hi-tech product only possessed by Iran and Russia.

The vessel is equipped with Torpedo 324 which can be used to attack aircraft carriers, surface vessels which weight 200 tons and loading and unloading docks.

he IRGC plans to use the torpedo vessel in the Persian Gulf to confront any hostile move against the country.

Senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps officials announced last year that the IRGC Navy is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and vessels, and is one of the only two world military forces equipped with a unique torpedo which moves with unbelievable velocity.

In December, Iran's latest home-grown torpedo was fired by the Naval forces' anti-submarine SH-3D helicopters on the fifth day of the massive Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) wargames in the Southern and Southeastern parts of the country.

The torpedo successfully hit and destroyed the specified sub-surface target in the waters of the Sea of Oman, Southern Iran.

According to Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the torpedo, test-fired recently, was used in operation for the first time.

The torpedo was in November test-fired in Jask region, Southern Iran, and can be fired from submarines, surface vessels and helicopters.

2 anti-subsurface SH-3D helicopters which were delivered to the Navy on December 1 were equipped with the torpedoes.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.

Russia will supply six battalions of Russian-made S-400 air defense missile systems to China.

Rosoboronexport, the Russian state agency for export of armament will supply S-400 air defense missile systems to China without delays, Anatoly Isaikin, Rosoboronexport Director General, confidently stated today, October 27, 2015. According to the Time of India, China has ordered no fewer than six battalions of S-400 with a total value US$ 3 billion. The first S-400 systems for China are scheduled for delivery in 2017.

"I’m absolutely confident we’ll fulfill our obligations within the timeframe established by the contract," he said, answering a question at the briefing to the journalists.

Also, Isaikin noted that many countries have applied for S-400, but the priority will be given to the Russian army.

As early as April this year, Isaikin declared that the S-400 supply contract with China had been signed. However, back then the head of Rosoboronexport did not disclose the details of the contract, its value, delivery dates and the number of systems. He only noted that "China was indeed the first buyer of this newest Russian air defense system, which testifies to the strategic level of our relationship."

Also in April Isaikin explained that other counties too are interested in the S-400 Triumph system but the Almaz-Antey Concern must primarily supply it to the Russian Defense Ministry. So the delivery of those systems to several countries at a time will be a difficult choice for the company despite the expanded manufacturing facilities.

In early October India joined those wishing to acquire S-400. According to the Times of India, the Indian Air Force Command has submitted a proposal to the government committee on defense procurements to purchase around twelve S-400 systems from Russia. The proposal will be considered shortly. The publication notes that the proposal to purchase the systems was made on the eve of Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar’s visit to Moscow.

The S-400 Triumph SA-21 is a long range surface-to-air missile systems produced by Almaz-Antey. The S-400 Trumph is intended to engage, ECM, radar-picket, director area, reconnaissance, strategic and tactical aircraft, tactical and theatre ballistic missiles, medium-range ballistic missiles and other current and future air attack assets at a maximum range of 400 km, and a altitude of up to 30 km.

Iranian Air Force Overhauls C-130 Military Transport Plane

Nov 4, 2015

Armée Iranienne/Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Page 16 9250

Iranian experts repaired and overhauled a C-130 military plane used for transporting military forces and equipment.

After 10 years since its last flight, the C-130 military plane was overhauled by the maintenance and logistics experts at the Shahid Doran Airbase.

The overhauling operations of the plane took 30,000 man/hours of work.

The C-130 plane joined the Iranian Air Force fleet after making its maiden flight.

In mid-August, a senior Iranian Air Force commander announced that Iran has attained self-sufficiency in overhauling military aircraft despite the sanctions imposed by the western countries.

“Thanks God and thanks to the Iranian Air Force experts and engineers, we have become self-sufficient in airplane overhauling, pilot training and many other fields,” Head of Shahid Sattari Aviation Science and Technology University Brigadier General Mehdi Hadiyan announced.

He reiterated that the Air Force is now self-sufficient in all areas while all its planes fly in accordance with the required standards.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in manufacturing essential military hardware and defense systems.

Yet, Iranian officials have always stressed that the country’s military and arms programs serve defensive purposes and should not be perceived as a threat to any other country.

In June, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Logistics Major General Mostafa Izadi announced Tehran’s preparedness to overhaul the most advanced jet engines in the world.

“I can say that we are able to provide the infrastructures to overhaul the latest version of any engines within 3 to 4 months,” Izadi said in Tehran.

He said that Iran Aircraft Industries (SAHA) is among the rare centers in the world which can overhaul and inspect different types of airplanes and engines of military and cargo planes.

“We have worked with many countries and have overhauled their planes and we have even overhauled planes in the African continent and South America,” Izadi said.

The regional states have also praised the high capabilities of Iranian Navy forces and experts in overhauling and building different types of planes and fighter jets.

In October 2014, Russian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev said he was surprised to see the Iranian Air Force’s capabilities in overhauling different types of airplanes.

“I witnessed the efforts made by the Iranian technicians in overhauling fighter jets and cargo planes and as an air force expert I was happy and surprised to see such progress,” Bondarev said after visiting Iran’s Shahid Babayee Air Base in Isfahan province.

“The Iranian Air Force’s capabilities in building parts and equipment and overhauling different types of planes and helicopters indicate that the international sanctions have not affected the activities of the Force,” he added.

The Iranian Air Force announced in August that the Iranian experts in Shahid Nasser Habibi air base in Northeastern Iran managed to overhaul two mirage F-1 fighter jets.

The overhauling operations of the two fighter jets took 45,000 man/hours of work. The two aircraft joined the Iranian Air Force fleet after making their maiden flights.

Iran also announced in June that its experts in Shaheed Fakouri air base in Iran’s Northwestern city of Tabriz are overhauling different types of aircraft, including the strategic Mig-29 and F-5 fighter jet.

“The (country’s) second air base is in a high state of preparedness by overhauling its Mig-29 and F-5 fighter jets highly effectively and manufacturing different plane parts,” General Massoud Rouzkhosh said.

“Considering Iran and the region’s strategic and sensitive geographical situation, the armed forces should always remain in a state of full operational readiness,” the pilot added.

In August 2012, a Mig-29 fighter jet of the Iranian Army conducted its test flight successfully after being overhauled by local experts.

The aircraft which was down for 12 years could experience its first flight after it was overhauled at Shaheed Fakouri air base, which took 21,000 man/hour of work.

The Iranian experts spent 24 months to overhaul the strategic fighter jet and mounted three types of modern electronic systems onto the aircraft in a bid to increase its technical and backup capabilities.

A new contract with Iran for the delivery of S-300 (NATO reporting name: SA-10 Grumble) air defense missile systems will be signed in early 2016, a representative of the Russian delegation at the Dubai Airshow 2015 said on Monday, November 9, 2015.

Talks with Iran on a specific design of the S-300 air defense missile system are in progress and will be completed no sooner than early next year," the representative of the Russian delegation said.

"Also at that time, a contract will be signed for the delivery of S-300 air defense missile systems in a version that will be defined by the Iranian side," he added.

According to him, Russia’s arms producer Almaz Antey, which will be the head contractor, will be able to manufacture and deliver S-300 air defense missile systems to Iran 18 months after the contract is signed.

There has been no official information about which S-300 air defense missile system Iran intends to receive: either the S-300PMU-1, which is no longer produced in Russia but can be manufactured specially for Iran, or the S-300BM.

The next big evolutionary step in the S-300 air defense missile system was the introduction of a new export variant the S-300PMU1/SA-10D, in 1993. The S-300PMU1 was developed between 1985 to 1989, and was first shown at the 1992 Moscow Air Show.

The S-300 PMU1 mobile multichannel air defence missile system can defeat modem and future aircrafts, strategic cruise missiles, tactical battlefield ballistic missiles and other targets with a reflection surface up to 0.02 sq. m. flying at speeds up to 2.800 m/s in massive enemy air raids and heavy clutter and severe ECM environments.

The S-300PMU1 air defense missile system can simultaneously engage up to 36 air targets by 72 missiles. The data exchange between grouping combat assets us carried out via telecoded communication lines in the radio or wire operating mode. The command and control assets and air defense missile systems can be separated to a distance of up to 35 km when using repeater stations and up to 100 km when using wire communications and radio-relay stations.

Russia hopes multi-billions military contracts and enhanced technical cooperation with Iran

Russia hopes to expand military and technical cooperation with Iran considerably after all restrictions on arms sales to the Islamic Republic are lifted, Russian presidential aide for military and technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said on Monday. Russia and Iran may sign contracts worth billions of US dollars, he said in an interview with Izvestiya newspaper.

"When all restrictions and all sanctions are lifted, I think we will progress quite considerably in the sphere of military and technical cooperation. It is partially developing for products uncovered by sanctions and we hope for very big projects in future," Kozhin said.

"The interest of Iran is great. They need to upgrade virtually all their armed services and branches seriously in all areas. All Iranian armed forces require modernization. Big contracts worth billions of US dollars will be signed, taking into account that this is a large country with numerous armed forces," the Russian presidential aide said.

As Kozhin said earlier, Russia is starting to deliver S-300 (NATO reporting name: SA-10 Grumble) air defense missile systems to Iran under the contract, which was suspended following sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council.

A new contract for the delivery of S-300 systems to Iran came into effect in early November. The contract was signed after Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the ban in the spring of 2015 on the delivery of S-300 systems to Teheran.

It was reported earlier that Iran would receive the S-300PMU-2 version of the S-300 air defense missile system.

According to Kozhin, Iran is interested in all Russian-made military hardware along with S-300 air defense missile systems.

Russia was the biggest supplier of military hardware and equipment to Iran in 1992-2014.

In 1992-2014, Russia delivered military hardware and equipment worth $3.469 billion to Iran, which made up 45% of the Iranian arms imports in that period.

Iran both purchased Russian-made military hardware and produced it under the Russian license.

In 1992-2014, Iran manufactured 300 T-72S1 main battle tanks, 331 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, 4,450 9M14M Malyutka-M anti-tank missiles, 4,950 9M111 Fagot anti-tank missiles for BMP-2 vehicles, 2,800 9M113 Konkurs anti-tank missiles and 100 D-30 guns under the Russian license.

Russia delivered 122 T-72S1 main battle tanks, 82 BMP-2 infantry combat vehicles, 3 Project 877E diesel-electric submarines, 304 V-46 diesel engines and 2 battalions of 2K12 Kvadrat air defense missile systems with 120 3M9 surface-to-air missiles to Iran.

Iran also received 42 Mil Mi-171Sh (Hip) multipurpose helicopters, 5 search and rescue versions of the Mi-8MT/Mi-17 (Hip) multipurpose helicopters, 500 9M114 Shturm anti-tank missiles, 130 fighting cabins for BMP-2 vehicles and 6 Sukhoi Su-25T (Frogfoot) attack aircraft, including 3 Su-25UBK aircraft with 40 R-60 air-to-air missiles from Russia.

In 1992-2014, Russia also delivered 29 Tor-M1 air defense missile systems with 750 9M338 surface-to-air missiles, 2 1L119 Nebo search radars, 2 Kasta-2E2 search radars and 2 1L222 Avtobaza electronic reconnaissance and jamming systems to Iran.
