La 6e édition du "Marrakech Air Show" aura lieu en octobre

La 6ème édition du Salon international de l’aéronautique et du spatial aura lieu du 24 au 27 octobre à la Base École des Forces Royales Air de Marrakech.

Il sera organisé sous l'égide du ministère de l’Industrie, du commerce, de l’investissement et de l’économie numérique, ainsi que de l'Administration de la Défense nationale et avec le support effectif des Forces Royales Air.

En une décennie, Marrakech Air show a su s’imposer comme un lieu de rencontre incontournable de l’industrie aéronautique civile et militaire sur le sol africain. Le salon est l'occasion de faire découvrir les nouveautés du secteur et de mettre en avant l’expérience, l’expertise et la compétence des participants.

Durant l’édition de 2018, 250 exposants sont attendus et une centaine de délégations officielles internationales civiles et militaires seront au rendez-vous.

Ces dernières années, le secteur international aéronautique et spatial a manifesté un intérêt accru pour l’Afrique et le Salon a également pour objectif de consolider la vocation africaine du Royaume. De par sa position stratégique et grâce à la montée en puissance de la qualité de ses services, le Maroc se positionne désormais comme une plate-forme de maintenance aéronautique stratégique pour le continent africain.

Le Salon vise aussi à accompagner l’essor considérable de l’industrie aéronautique nationale marquée, durant la dernière décennie, par l’implantation de sociétés de renommée mondiale.

En marge du Salon MAS 2018, un symposium des Chefs d’Etats-majors africains, portant sur la sécurité et la défense, sera organisé les 21, 22 et 23 octobre 2018, par le Commandement de l’Armée de l’Air Américaine en Europe et en Afrique, avec le soutien des Forces Royales Air.

Plus d’une centaine de hauts responsables militaires des forces aériennes d’une quarantaine de pays africains prendront part à cette conférence, articulée autour de thématiques en rapport avec les défis sécuritaires régionaux et nationaux, le développement des échanges bilatéraux et la promotion de la coopération multilatérale.

In the 5th edition, Marrakech Air show has established itself as the meeting place of the world's civil and military aviation industry for the African continent.

The show has acquired its nobility during the last editions. The concept of the African Aerospace Platform (AAP) underpinned by the show was acclaimed by the entire international community and many official delegations of the highest level made the trip, including Russian, Chinese, North American and European.

In recent years the entire international aviation community has shown an increased interest in Africa. African continent’s states concerned with their economic development are aware of the need for the development of their communication’s means. Air transport and satellite transmissions have become unavoidable vectors of growth in the global "radius of action"

With the "Co Localization" movement of the world aerospace industry, Morocco has been experiencing anexponential growth in this sector since these 10 years, mainly due to the "low cost" production strategy of the major aircraft manufacturers.

Morocco has successfully positioned itself as a strategic maintenance platform for the African continent by increasing the quality of its services.

In the framework of the trans-African cooperation, Morocco, animated by a rm willpower to develop its relations with the African states, invites about fifty official delegations on this major event.

Coupled with Marrakech Air Show 2018, a symposium on Security and Defense with the African Air Force Chiefs of Staff will be organized by the US Air Force Command in Europe and Africa with the support of Royal Air Forces, 22nd and 23rd of October 2018.

More than a hundred Heads of Defense and high-ranking air force personnel from the African countries will take part in this annual conference, organized around the reection on regional and national security problems, the development of bilateral exchanges and the promotion of multilateral cooperation.

During this annual conference, the African delegations will participate in round tables during which they will have specific exchanges and will examine aspects related to the training of skills and the technological and logistical strengthening of the air forces of their respective countries.

Marrakech Air Show 2018 is THE opportunity for political makers and aeronautics operators to share their short, medium and long-term vision of the AAP’s development, favorable to international industrialists concerned to establish a bridgehead in Morocco in the conquest of African markets.

le Z9 est une excellente plateforme pour nos future hélicos d'attaques, tactiques et ASW
c'est un produit qu'on maitrise, qui est facile d'entretien et qui reste très fiable (voir nos dauphin )
un contrat avec transfert de technologie (largement dans nos cordes) et production locale serai le rêve et le chemin vers l’autosuffisance avec possibilité d'export vers l’Afrique

jamais le MAS n' a atteint ce niveau je suis satisfait de voir le travail fourni par les organisateurs c est comme ça qu'on organise un tel rdv manque plus que du russe

U.S. Air Forces in Europe/Air Forces Africa, at the invitation from the Kingdom of Morocco and in coordination with the U.S. Embassy-Rabat, will participate in the Marrakech Air Show 2018 from Oct 24-27. The U.S. Air Force has scheduled the following aircraft for display and public view: a C-130J Super Hercules, KC-135R Stratotanker and a C-17A Globemaster II. The presence of these aircraft promotes our strong ties with Morocco and demonstrates to a large audience that U.S. industry is producing the types of equipment that is critical to the success of current and future military operations.
