Sea Star 2010

Citation :: Sea Star 2010- A Bilateral NATO-Moroccan Navy exercise

At the end of the visit the passing exercise (PASSEX) “Sea Star 2010” took place in vicinity of Casablanca. Two observers of the Moroccan Navy were onboard ITS GRANATIERE and the fast patrol boat ‘Al Hamiss’ 316 of the Moroccan Navy participated in the exercise.

The scenario was fictitious and designed only for the purpose of the exercise. The Principal Staff Officer of the force, LT. CDR. Hakan Kuslaroglu, TUR Navy explained all the aspects of the exercise at a conference held before the ships left the port.
The two Moroccan officers will remain on SNMCMG2 units until the end of their participation in a Spanish exercise, MINEX 10, to work together with the NATO staff and learn more about the activities of the Group.
