Citation :: Cubic Defense Applications Inc., San Diego, Calif., has been awarded a 24,999,949 firm-fixed-price contract for foreign military sales P5Combat Training System (P5CTS), combined hardware buy. Contractor will provide (P5CTS) hardware to provide an instrumented training capability that increases, maintains, and assesses combat proficiency in the following mission areas: counter air, close air support, strategic attack, air interdiction, and electronic combat. Work will be performed at San Diego, Calif., and Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and is expected to be complete by July 20, 2015. This award is a result of a sole-source acquisition. This award is for the governments of Singapore, Morocco, Oman and Saudi Arabia under the FMS program. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/EBYK, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8678-14-C-0046).

ca coute quelque 8M$ mais comme c´est un achat groupé y´a reduction ca fait un peu moins(6-7M$),c´est aussi selon les besoins/options des clients.
ca aidera entre autres a installer une EWTR sur Cap Draa training range Cool

ce que je note et qui est très positif c'est qu'il est adapté a tout nos avions de combat sauf les alpha-jet

The Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) will get the P5 Combat Training System (P5CTS) under a USD5.5 million contract announced by the US Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on 31 January.

The FBO announcement said the contract was awarded to Cubic Defense Applications, but provided no further details.

P5CTS is designed to provide realistic air combat training. It can be adapted for use on most fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft and can simulate longer-range engagements than earlier systems.

As the system is widely deployed, the RMAF would be able to use its P5CTS in exercises with many other air forces.

P5CTS features pods, carried by all aircraft in training exercises, that continuously share location and weapons data between all the aircraft through datalinks.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – April 11, 2014 – Cubic Defense Systems, a subsidiary of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today it has been awarded a contract valued at more than $5 million from the U.S. Air Force to supply its P5 Combat Training System (P5CTS) to the Moroccan Air Force. Morocco will join the United States Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, along with a number of international air forces, in using the P5CTS to support high-fidelity, TOPGUN-style live and post-mission training. The P5CTS will be used by Moroccan pilots who fly the recently-delivered F-16 aircraft.

“This contract is a demonstration of our commitment to the air combat readiness of one of the United States’ allies,” said Dave Schmitz, president of Cubic Defense Systems. “Cubic is dedicated to provide and develop best-in-class, cost effective, advanced flight training for pilot mission readiness. All foreign air forces that fly fighter or attack jets or conduct joint exercises and training with the U.S. should have a P5 system to maximize their training capabilities.”

Cubic is the prime contractor responsible for performance in all areas of systems engineering, and for development/integration/installation of the ground instrumentation subsystem. DRS Training & Control Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc. is the principal subcontractor responsible for performance of the P5CTS airborne instrumentation subsystem to include design, development, aircraft integration and production.
