According to Arkady Shipunov, who left the position of KBP's general director in late September, the Pantzyr's export backlog already has reached $2.6 billion. In addition to the United Arab Emirates — which financed the system's development and became its launch customer — Syria and Algeria also have placed orders. Shipunov said that negotiations on the delivery of additional systems are being held with five more countries in North Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe.

Le lieutenant Abdellouahad Harbi, officier algérien spécialiste des transports, achève en juillet sa scolarité débutée en septembre 2006 aux Ecoles de la Logistique et du Train (ELT) de Tours. Il fait aujourd’hui partie des neuf élèves étrangers intégrés à la toute nouvelle division d’application logistique réunissant lieutenants du matériel et du train.

Les ELT représentent une étape importante dans la carrière de ce lieutenant. Après trois ans de formation fondamentale à l’académie de Cherchell, il acquiert à partir de 2002 les spécialités de chef de peloton transport et de chef de peloton circulation. “La formation aux ELT constitue pour moi une véritable plus value pour la suite de ma carrière. Elle constitue un avantage lors de ma formation de commandant d’unité et pour le diplôme d’état-major.” Si l’apprentissage du métier est relativement le même, les terminologies et les matériels utilisés par les Français diffèrent. En Algérie, les chefs de peloton utilisent des simulateurs de conduite pour appréhender l’évolution d’un convoi sur un itinéraire. Aux ELT, l’approche est différente, avec l’utilisation de logiciels de simulation tel que NEMERTES. Cet outil permet aux stagiaires d’avoir une vision d’ensemble de leurs moyens, d’anticiper et de tester leur capacité à prendre des décisions déterminantes sur le terrain.

L’intégration et le cadre de vie sont essentiels. La France, les français, une autre culture, il a fallu s’adapter. “L’accueil réservé a été décisif pour moi. Les cadres de ma brigade m’ont accompagné toute l’année et les stagiaires français m’ont considéré comme l’un des leurs. Une franche camaraderie s’est instaurée et certains m’ont invité chez eux. J’espère les revoir. Ils seront les bienvenus en Algérie [...] J’ai fait beaucoup de visites, les châteaux de la Loire, la ville de Tours et surtout Paris. Je garderai un excellent souvenir de la France.”

c efficace contre les terros ,ces helicos ont sauver l'algerie quand les autres pays ont decider de en pas aider l'algerie et de les laisser de debroiller seul ,mais grace a dieu et a la volonté de nos soldats et de nos officiers , on a pu vaicre les terros ,grace a ces joujous ,et grand chapeux aux sud africains qui ont moderniser ces helicos

La modernisation est fait en Algerie. La modification du 17 lui permet de faire de l'AT grâce aux Missiles Ingwe (même lanceur que le Mi-24MKIII)

L'hélicoptère est un outil indispensable pour la lutte anti-terroriste

j'ai un cousin qui est pilote d'helicos et quia travailler pendant les annés 90 ,il m'as dit que parfois il fallait attaquer a l'oeil nue ,malgré tout les risques ,pour localiser les terros ,et c'etait assez efficazce quand meme

mais bon les helico russe ont prix une sacré raclet en afghanistant quand meme grace o missile americain
il parai que les helico algerien ont ete moderniser par l'afrqieu du sud mais je sais pas si c les mi o hind

Les Hélicos Russes en Afganistan n'avaient pas de CME contrairement a aujourd'hui, de plus le GSPC n'a pas de missile Sol-Air

comme tu peut le voir sur la Photo de la page précédente les Hélicos Mi-17 ont une modernisation qui leur permet de faire de la lutte AT et anti-terroriste

En tout 12 Beech 1900D ont été acquis entre 2000 et 2002 auprès des USA.

6 sont utilisés comme avion VIP et 6 ont été équipés par Raytheon avec divers sensceurs : radar, caméra thermique....etc. Ainsi ces Beech 1900D sont dit HISAR/MMSA.

Le dispositif HISAR : comprenant 6 Beech 1900D HISAR, et sûrement d'Hummer équipés également avec des équipements Raytheon constituants des éléments terrestres, et qui servent essentiellement dans des missions anti-terroristes et de surveillance maritime

Raytheon also has established the HISAR Institute to educate international customers, partners and suppliers on the features and benefits of SAR/GMTI technology.

By combining low costs and high performance, with a broad range of sensor and equipment options, HISAR demonstrates that it is possible to produce advanced yet affordable ISR technology. It is available, through HISAR, in a form that can match growing customer security needs. "HISAR can be used for border or maritime patrol, long-distance surveillance, as well as, for detection of environmental pollutions", explains marketing manager Justin C. Monger. For these tasks, HISAR can operate in various modes, offering a best resolution of 1,8 meters:

- The wide-area search mode is good for a first overview, covering 5600 square kilometers per minute (resolution 20 m). The same area can be checked for moving targets (10 to 72 km/h).
- A strip map covers a strip of 37 kilometers in width (6 m resolution).
- In the spot mode the radar is concentrating on an area of 10 square kilometers (resolution 1,8 meters).
- In maritime surveillance, ships of 250 square meters in size can be detected out to 200 kilometers distance.
- Air targets can be detected also.

The radar, which is operating in the X-Band, has a range of approximately 110 kilometers. According to Hughes, there is no performance degradation up to this range, meaning that a spot picture at 90 km distance should be as sharp as a picture taken only 20 km away.

The radar data is processed by a special computer and is handed over in digital format to a display processor (up to 8000 x 8000 pixels per picture). The processed picture can be presented at one or more workstations in the aircraft. Alternately, a data link to a ground station can be integrated. The operator on board the aircraft has two displays which show the radar picture and the tactical situation.

To a large extent, Hughes used existing commercial standards for the development of software and hardware, enabling the company to reduce the price for HISAR to approximately four million US dollars. Of cource, the aircraft is extra. A Beech King Air 200 from Raytheon (price: $4,8 million) is being used as the demonstrator.

Since HISAR weighs only 250 kg and the installation space is relatively small, business jets may be under consideration as potential platforms also. The US Army has installed a derivative of HISAR in two Dash 7s which have been operated in South Korea since September of last year. Due to these aircraft's larger cabin, the "airborne reconnaissance low-multi-functional" system can be operated from four workstations.

It is a plus for Hughes' marketing activities that HISAR has already been ordered by the US forces. However, it delayed the market introduction of the system. Beginning at the Aérosalon in Paris, a ten-month demonstration tour will promote the system in 16 countries.

The Hughes marketing experts hope for the first orders this year. Based on the reactions of potential customers so far, in most cases Hughes will probably not just deliver the radar but will put together a flexibly system with additional sensors such as high focal-length cameras and infrared detectors. Hughes has options available for both of these technologies.

pétrol ou pas c'est une question de prinsipes et de bon sens. le Mi 24 est une connerie volante. je ne suis pas contre le matos russe, le Ka-50 et le Mi-28N sont biens, sinon je préfère Apache et super cobra, c'est mieux que d'acheter une connerie même si le prix est plus abordable.
