CNIM Systèmes Industriels, a French defense and security manufacturer, will be showcasing its latest innovations at Eurosatory 2024. The event will take place from 17 to 21 June at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte, where the company will be showcasing advanced solutions designed to effectively support military operations, including Motorized Floating Bridges, the ROCUS unmanned system and the AUROCH 8X8 vehicle.

A major innovation to be introduced is the new generation of Motorized Floating Bridges (PFM), developed in response to the needs expressed by several NATO countries to address current and future challenges. This bridge is capable of transporting the heaviest vehicles, including modern tanks such as the Abrams M1A2SEPV3, and Leopard 2A7, among others. Key features of the PFM include ease of construction and rapid deployment, with high-performance integrated engines and a remote control and command system enabling quick and efficient setup.

In addition to its military applications, the PFM can also be used in civilian operations, such as during natural disasters where it can be rapidly deployed as a ferry or a temporary bridge to replace one damaged by severe floods.

Another flagship product is the ROCUS (Route Clearance Unmanned System), based on the THEMIS platform from MILREM Robotics. Designed to meet the security needs of military convoys in the field, the ROCUS can operate in challenging terrain and inspect, confirm, and neutralize threats from improvised explosive devices (IEDs), thereby ensuring the safety of soldiers. This unmanned vehicle is remotely operated, allowing engineers to stay away from mined areas.

The AUROCH, a land development vehicle, is also featured prominently. This 8x8 vehicle combines speed and mobility and can operate on any terrain. Armed and armored, the AUROCH is suited for supporting melee units in urban or high-intensity environments, providing protection and support to engineers. Capable of reaching a top speed of 80 km/h and an autonomy of 600 km, the AUROCH is fully integrated with the SCORPION system and designed to work with the TITAN system. It is also air-transportable.
