presse. Selon le militaire, les deux pays élaborent les conditions auxquelles
ces batteries pourraient être "livrées sur notre territoire".
La batterie sol-air Triumf S-400 est conçu pour contrer les nouveaux
types de cibles : les aéronefs intégrant des technologies furtives, les
missiles de croisière de faibles dimensions, ainsi que les missiles
balistiques dont le rayon d'action ne dépasse pas 3.500 km, les cibles
hypersoniques d'une vitesse de vol 4,8 km/sec, et d'autres systèmes
d'attaque aérienne, modernes et à venir.

The Belarusian Armed Forces have begun receiving the upgraded Polonez-M multiple launch rocket (MRL) system.

The modernised V-300RK Polonez-M MRL was shown at the recent MILEX 2019 exhibition in Minsk with an eight-cell launcher and a full-size mock-up of the upgraded A300 tactical surface-to-surface missile.

The Polonez-M is being developed by the Minsk-based Precision Electromechanics Plant (ZTEM), in co-operation with an undisclosed foreign state, which Jane's understands to be China.

Belarus' State Committee for Military Industry (GKVP) has already confirmed that the modernised system has passed firing tests, including the launch of a missile at a distance of 298.5 km in October 2017 in the Gomel Region of eastern Belarus.

According to industry sources, the A300 missile has already entered the development phase and will be finalised in 2021. "The upgraded missile features low radar cross-section and high manoeuvrability, flight speed, and diving speed in terminal phase," said a spokesperson for GKVP, commenting on the results of the tests.

The Polonez-M is mounted on a modernised MZKT-7930-3013 8x8 heavy chassis, which is equipped with a new gearbox and life support system, and has heavier payload capacity.

The vehicle typically carries eight canistered A300 missiles, which have a range of between 120 km and 290 km with a circular error probable (CEP) not exceeding 30 m. However, it is also capable of firing the earlier A200 munition, the firing range of which lies between 50 km and 200 km. Accordingly, the Polonez-M can simultaneously engage up to eight targets in a 20 km x 20 km area.

Belarus has signed a contract with Uralvagonzavod for the modernisation of 11 T-72B main battle tanks (MBTs) to the T-72B3 standard, according to a 25 June statement released from the Belarusian Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The press statement says the contract was signed as a

result of a meeting at the Army 2019 exhibition held in Kubinka, Russia, from 25-30 June, and that the vehicles will be delivered between now and next year.

The press release adds that a contract was also signed with Russian aircraft manufacturer Irkut, covering the installation of Talisman self-protection systems onto Belarusian Yak-130 aircraft.

The T-72B3 is an economical upgrade designed to turn older T-72 MBTs into a viable platform for the modern battlespace. It provides the vehicle with a Sosna-U sight that includes a thermal imaging channel as well as improved armour and a modestly improved 125 mm main gun.

Belarus has already received at least 24 T-72B3 obr.2016 vehicles, which have a more powerful engine and further improved armour over the T-72B3. It is unclear whether the vehicles referred to in the latest press release will be at this standard.

Belarus Receives Two Su-30SM Jets Today

Belarus has received first two of the total ordered 12 Su-30SM fighter jets today.

"Under the defense procurement plan, Su-30SM multirole fighters will be delivered. Two fighters are expected to land at the Baranovichi aerodrome tomorrow afternoon," Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov, was quoted by the BelTA news agency, on Tuesday.

The agreement for the dozen Sukhoi jets to replace old MiG-29 fighters, was signed in 2017. Two more jets are expected to be shipped to the country by the end of 2019.

The Su-30SM is a generation 4++ serial-produced and upgraded two-seat super-maneuverable fighter jet. The Su-30SM is furnished with two AL-31FP thrust-vectoring reheated double-flow turbofan engines. The fighter has an operating range of 1,500 km and a flight endurance of 3.5 hours without refuelling.

In Minsk, at the exhibition of arms and military equipment deployed during the meeting of the board of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus held on January 31, 2020, on the territory of OJSC "AGAT - Control Systems", an 80 mm multiple launch rocket system "Flute" of Belarusian design was displayed for the first time, LiveJournal reports. It was stated that the MLRS "Flute" is at the stage of polygon tests, which are expected to be completed in 2020.

The Flute MLRS combat vehicle uses widely spread Soviet 80 mm C-8 series non-guided aircraft missiles launched from an 80 charge launcher made on the basis of the SHTS ("Silach") 4x4 armored vehicle, presented by BSVT-New Technologies LLC (Minsk). In fact, Asila is a "rebranded" version of the widely armored vehicles of the Buran family made on the chassis of a GAZ-3308 Sadko truck of the Russian company Rida Holding. Moving control station of RCD Flute is also made on the chassis of armored truck Asilak ARS-6.
It is reported that MLRS "Flute" is equipped with an automated control system "Alliance", as well as on-board navigation complex. This increases the accuracy of the rocket launcher and makes it possible to use it as part of a single control center.

The Flute MLRS combat vehicle has a combat weight of 6,970 kg and is designed for two persons. Time of deployment on the ground is no more than 60 seconds. Preparation time for the volley takes up to 30 seconds. The effective range of fire spans from 1,000 to 3,000 meters (other sources give the figure to 5,000 meters)
