The Su-30МКМ was developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau on basis of the super maneuverable fighter the Su-30MKI. The aircraft has the same aerodynamically perfect airframe, state-of-the-art engine with the Thrust Vector Control (TVC) and the most advanced digital fly-by-wire system. The MKM version differs from the MKI by virtue of the composition of the onboard avionics. The French company ТHALES supplies the Head-up display (HUD), navigational forward-looking IR system NAVFLIR and Laser Designation pod (LDP Damocles). Aircraft carries missile approach warning sensor (MAWS) and laser warning sensor (LWS) manufactured by the AVITRONICS company (South Africa).
The electronic warfare (EW) system, up-to-date radar (with a phased antenna array capable of simultaneously tracking 15 and attacking 4 targets), optic-location system with the laser rangefinder are all produced by leading Russian manufacturers.

Le 19 mars, les Forces spéciales de la CGRR (PASKAU) ont effectué un saut avec succès avec l’ADRHIB (Air Droppable Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) et de l’équipe de sauvetage para maritime (MPRT). L’objectif de la formation est de mettre à l’essai la mobilisation du personnel et de l’équipement du CGRR dans le cadre du Plan d’urgence des opérations de sauvetage maritime du CGRR. Le scénario mis en œuvre lors de cet exercice est la recherche et le sauvetage (Search and Rescue) d’un accident d’avion qui s’est écrasé dans l’océan.
US Officially Transfers CN235 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft to Malaysia
On June 27, 2024, the United States officially handed over three CN235-220 maritime surveillance aircraft to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) during a ceremony held at Subang Air Base. US Ambassador to Malaysia, Edgard D. Kagan, formally handed over the “Universal Hand Control Unit” (UHCU) of the aircraft’s electro-optical/infrared sensor turret to RMAF Commander Gen. Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan.

Upgrade on K200 armored vehicles of the Malaysian Army (image: Hanwha)
Hanwha Aerospace signed contact on August 2 with Malaysian special vehicle manufacturer Cendana Auto to enhance the performance of the K200 armored vehicles that have been in service for more than 30 years.
Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will select a prototype for initial upgrades. Following a verification period, the scope of enhancements will be expanded to include all K200 vehicles currently in service with the Malaysian military.
